He previously worked with Apollo Hospitals as a Junior Consultant and with Apollo Medical College as a Senior Resident and Assistant Professor. He is also currently associated with Apollo Cradle & Children’s Hospital, Jubilee Hills, and Asian Institute of Fetal medicine & Reproductive Genetics Banjara Hills.
Dr. Vijay has received advanced national and international training in fetal medicine and fetal interventions, including fetoscopic surgery training in Bogotá, Colombia , Advanced Fetal Interventions from Egypt, Fetal Medicine Fellowship from the AIRA Institute of Feto Care and Genetics; Radiologic Pathology training through AIRP, American College of Radiology, Maryland, USA and advanced training in onco-radiology interventions in Miami, USA.

Personal Experience
Dr. Vijay K.E. has extensive experience in fetal medicine, fetal interventions, women’s imaging, infertility ultrasound, clinical genetics, and interventional radiology. He has provided fetal medicine and fetal therapy services across Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, and other centres, with experience in more than 400–500 fetal intervention and therapy cases.
He also has strong interventional radiology experience through Maveen Clinics, with 4–5 years of work in endovascular procedures, endovenous laser ablation for varicose veins, vascular interventions, gynecological interventions, thyroid and tumor ablations, breast interventions, and other minimally invasive image-guided procedures.
With additional training in Clinical Genetics from Institute of Genetics & Hospitals - Osmania University, he provides integrated fertility counselling, prenatal genetic counselling, infertility ultrasound, and invasive diagnostic procedures such as amniocentesis and CVS.
He has delivered guest lectures and presented his academic work at several prestigious national and international conferences, including IRIA 2025 & 2026, AOCR 2025, the International Fetal Medicine Foundation Congress in Abu Dhabi, APCIO Kuala Lumpur, and the Spectrum Congress in Miami, USA. He received the Young Investigator Award at the APCIO Interventional Radiology Conference in Kuala Lumpur for his academic presentation and has published peer-reviewed articles on fetal interventions, fetal therapy, radiology, and interventional imaging.
